Terms of Service
Terms for using ClickMend Health Checks, subscriptions, monitoring, and verification.
Last updated: July 22, 2026
These terms govern your access to and use of ClickMend. By running a Health Check, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to these terms.
The service
ClickMend scans the destination pages behind your paid traffic, scores them, estimates the revenue impact of the problems it finds, diagnoses specific technical issues, and — on a paid plan — provides the corresponding fixes, unlimited re-scans, scheduled monitoring, and public exact-score verification for eligible destinations. Additional capabilities, including page generation and client workspaces, are offered as they become available on your plan.
Free Health Checks
Every person gets two free Health Checks per week. The allowance resets weekly — it is not a lifetime limit. Free Health Checks show your score, the specific problems found, and the estimated revenue impact. They do not include the corresponding fixes, unlimited re-scans, or monitoring, which require a paid subscription.
The free allowance is metered per person using your email address and network address. Attempting to evade the limit — through multiple addresses, automated requests, or otherwise — is a breach of these terms.
Subscription, billing, and cancellation
Plans. ClickMend is sold as a monthly subscription in three tiers — Starter at $29/month, Growth at $99/month, and Scale at $199/month. Every paid tier includes complete prioritized fixes, unlimited Health Checks, fresh re-scans and history, weekly monitoring with score-drop alerts, and eligibility for exact-score verification. Tiers differ in capacity: the number of client accounts, monitored and verified destinations, and Build Project allowance shown on the plan you select at checkout.
Billing. Your subscription is billed in advance and runs for a 30-day period. It renews automatically each period at the then-current price until you cancel.
Cancel anytime. You may cancel at any time, from your billing portal, without contacting us and without penalty. Cancellation stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, then ends.
No refunds. Payments are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods, unused Health Checks, periods of non-use, or subscriptions cancelled mid-cycle. Because you can cancel at any time and keep access through the period you paid for, cancelling early costs you nothing beyond the current period.
Price changes. We may change the subscription price. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the change applies to your renewal, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
Failed payments. If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access until payment succeeds. Subscriptions unpaid after a reasonable retry period may be cancelled.
Taxes. Prices exclude any applicable sales, use, VAT, or similar taxes, which are added where required.
Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. ClickMend never receives or stores your full card number.
No Google affiliation or performance guarantee
ClickMend is independent software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by Google. A ClickMend Score is not a Google Quality Score. It is our own measurement of the technical landing-page factors that contribute to the Landing Page Experience component of Quality Score. Scores, fixes, estimates, monitoring, and verification do not guarantee advertising cost, ad rank, ad approval, lead volume, conversion rate, revenue, or any business result.
Revenue-loss estimates
Revenue and ad-spend leakage figures are model-based estimates, not measurements. They are derived from your inputs and from industry default assumptions about cost per click, conversion rate, close rate, and job value, and they are deliberately capped to avoid implausible outputs. They may be materially inaccurate for your business. You are responsible for replacing the defaults with your actual data before relying on any estimate, and for your own commercial decisions.
Acceptable use
- Provide accurate account and billing information.
- Keep your account secure and do not share access outside your organization.
- Submit only destinations you own or are authorized to test, monitor, or publish.
- Do not use the service to abuse infrastructure, evade plan or free-tier limits, disrupt third parties, scrape protected data, or violate any law.
- Fair-use and rate limits may apply to scans, revisions, API calls, and high-volume activity.
Generated pages and remediation guidance
Where ClickMend supplies fixes, code, or generated pages, you are responsible for reviewing them before publishing or sending paid traffic to them — including copy, claims, code, images, accessibility, tracking, privacy compliance, and brand accuracy. Output may require modification and testing. You retain responsibility for what you publish.
Monitoring and verification
Monitoring is a paid feature. Monitored destinations are re-scanned on a weekly cadence, so a monitoring result or badge may be up to seven days old. We alert you when a monitored score drops materially, but monitoring is not a real-time uptime or security service and should not be relied on as one.
Verification requires active monitoring, a recent successful scan, a score of at least 90, and no critical failure. We may automatically change a badge to Performance Alert, Pending, or Expired when those conditions are not met. You may not display an expired or suspended badge as current, or alter the badge artwork.
Public records and permission
You must hold the rights and permission needed to publish any destination, company name, badge, result, or case study. We will not name you or display your URL publicly without your consent. We may remove or anonymize a public record where consent, accuracy, freshness, security, or policy requirements are not satisfied.
Availability and changes
The service may change, experience interruptions, or require maintenance, and depends in part on third-party services including Google's PageSpeed Insights API. Features, plan limits, monitoring cadence, and verification rules may be updated prospectively. We will give notice of material adverse changes where practical.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClickMend's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost advertising spend, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or abuse. On termination, your right to use the service and to display any ClickMend Verified badge ends.
